1. Hygiene Mo, Sagot Ko!

Knowledge and access to proper hygiene was truly needed during the peak of COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. The SK Council implemented the project “Hygiene Mo, Sagot Ko!” from 2020 to 2021 in order to provide hygiene kits to youth in the community. Hygiene kit is composed of soap, face mask, alcohol, cotton buds and face towel. After the distribution of kits, it was followed by a webinar that tackled the importance of proper hygiene and must-know practices.

2. Mental Health 101 Webinar

Discussing mental health openly can help dispel misunderstandings and eliminate the stigma surrounding it. The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Rizal desires to create an environment that encourages individuals who are struggling  to seek help and discover a strong support system. 

 

Mental health advocate-speaker for the youth and Registered Psychometrician. Ms. Ish Navarro, also known as The Wounded Healer. Talked about Myths vs Facts about Mental Health and Understanding Mental Health. The participants were also given the opportunity to speak up  and ask questions. All 150 participants received a mental health kit that includes notebook, ballpen, stress ball and healing rub.

3. Women Reproductive Health Webinar

This webinar conducted in 2023 aims to educate young women regarding their reproductive health. A total of 150 participants received a health kit that includes health supplement, notebook and sanitary pads.

4. Teenage Pregnancy Awareness Webinar

Due to the rising number of teenage pregnancy cases, this webinar conducted in 2020 was helpful to youth aged 12 years old to 18 years old. Aside from the learnings about STDs and safe sex, 150 participants also received webinar kits.

5. HIV/AIDS Awareness Seminar

This webinar was intended to give light about HIV and AIDS that is a common issue among the youth nowadays particularly with the LGBTQIA+ community. Free testing was also conducted after the webinar.
